Egads Abba? That was 1976 I think. Abba in a Bus?mentalQtip wrote:Dancing Queen by Abba. Tami playiing in the living room.
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Re: What are you listening to RIGHT NOW?
My dad made me a mixed CD of 75 or so songs from that era my first Christmas with the bus. It was one of the best gifts I've ever received. I'll look for the track list and post it here when I find it!Sylvester wrote:I am compliling a list of late 60's early 70's music for when we take the Bus on the road this spring. Re: What are you listening to RIGHT NOW?
I've got an internet connection out in my garage, so most days I'm listening to "Psychedlicized Radio" by way of a TuneIn Radio app running on an Android tablet. Sitting on a shelf is a BlueTooth "boombox" of sorts. This allows the wildest sounds of the late 60's to fill the air with a lot of help from modern technology. Internet radio ... it's a wonderful thing!

I can't believe this thread is still going...
My most listened to thing is Pandora on the Android head unit in my car. I have a customized station called "Shark Rock" that's primarily White Zombie/Pantera with a smattering of 80's hair metal and some old school rock spawned off the Stones Paint It black.

Off hand I'd also throw in some Moody Blues, Hawkwind, maybe even Silver Apples if you're feeling that adventurous.SlowLane wrote:Any other suggestions for a late 60's early 70's vibe?
