'kay,
Memorial Day Picnic at the Blair residence for 600 of their closest friends. I'll mow the grass and Z can spruce up the accomodations, did I mention she loves putting on big parties, bring your friends and acquaintances too, she said, "don't bring a thing, I'll take care of it all. Jeffrey is such a good chef, that he would be happy to cook."
So how about Duck a l'Orange? That sounds tasty.

I'll bring BBQ! Is El Carnivore still in business there in Austin?
Wow do you have room for all of us?
HIPPIE! I haven't heard of "El Carnivore" but I will ask around. Don't bring BBQ, just chip in for a brisket and sausage. J's BBQ is the bomb (the secret is in the rub before the grill!)

Do we have room for all of you? Let's see. We could convert my office to a bedroom, there's the living room floor and we have a fenced backyard. You'll have to share that though. There are a couple of nice campy places not too far also. Like McKinney Falls or Hamilton Pool or Lost Oaks or Inks Lake (google em!)

Believe it or not, I actually make an excellent Duck L'Orange there maestro, and I usually stuff it with fruit and nuts.
Something even your palate can appreciate :blackeye:

You know if you behave I might make that for dinner on New Years or NYE if we don't go out. I'll even wear that red silk dress I'm working on too. :cherry:

Wait, what was this thread about again??? Oh yeah, ITINERARY....Where's the 2009 itinerary thread there? :geek:

That's the thing, isn't it, imagine all those Westy's parked on your lawn and up and down your street.

I couldn't see it on our lawn with the tree there, but up and down the street? DEFINITELY! Extra points for anyone who could be obnoxious with a flag that would tease our neighbor across the street with a Wolverine flag flying. Is that you, Buckeye Don??? :colors:

Hmmmm...Buckeyes vs. Longhorns...May need to rethink that one :cyclopsani:

Right now we've got two bays in the drive. There's a red Syncro (sp?) that lives somewhere close by. There's a 1960's Beetle too.

I'm sure I could come up with an OSU flag somewhere, but I wouldn't want to risk having my Westy vandalized!

I was just thinking about the cruel irony that the Itinerary took place just as gas prices peaked, and when it was over they plummeted. Oh the humanity.

So I've heard
We use this in combination with a (usually) homemade BBQ sauce:

All the rubs of this company that we've tried are pretty awesome.

Yep. Summer gas prices always go up but this past summer was horrible. I don't even remember how much gas was
during the 1970's odd/even gas rationing bs...

I have gas logs back to 2004. No fill-ups hit $40.00 until 2007.
Three of them in 2008 hit $50.00, top price was $57.35. Filled up here in Austin for $19.80 yesterday. . . 12.3 gallons.
