Lanval, you're cracking me up with your jokes here! But seriously, late July should work for me Colin (and Lanval). I'll be in Wisconsin from July 9th to the 16th, and then up in Tahoe from July 20th to the 25th for a wedding, but I will be back for the end of July, and should be around most of August.

How's your bus doing these days Lanval, by the way? Also, I have a new UCI grad student friend who has a sweet and very clean 1987 2.1 Westy! I helped him fix a fuel leak a week ago, and we determined that the bearings were going out in either the AC compressor or the water pump (it ended up being the water pump. NYSCOE fixed it up for him). I'm going to mention IAC to him...

OY! Brake lights disappeared recently; can't say for sure why. I didn't know until an Irvine cop gave me a "fix it" ticket on Saturday.

So now I'm working on that. I'll post a thread in a few minutes, and when I do, I'll link to it here for everyone's amusement.

Yikes! Did you have ANY lights that were working correctly back there Lanval? ;) It's good to hear about the bus driving around on the road though--I'm glad you're getting some good use out of it finally! I think that Vanagon is turning into a reliable daily driver.

I took the orangemobile up to San Francisco about a month ago and it performed flawlessly on the trip there and back. It's a good road-trip machine!

I'll presume that the June 12 Fancy Pants visit is actually July 12. Lessn' you installed a hyperdrive in the Bob D.

I would like to get on the schedule for a weekend full day if you can swing it.

Looks like July 9 may be open...?

Colin, I'm glad you padded the Portland schedule a little bit. I can't afford ya right now, but seeing you is always a high point of the summer. Catching a dandelion seed...

I know I'm late to the party, but is there a chance I could get a RED 'D' and a Gibsonia, PA?
