Rear Apron Bolts
I need 3 for my 71 Bus, any one have them?

Re: Rear Apron Bolts
I don't, but your hardware store does. They're a common, albeit metric, size. If you need three, that must mean you still have one. Take it with you to match with and I'll bet you strike gold.

Re: Rear Apron Bolts
Or if they don't, some NAPA stores have a killer metric nut and bolt drawer behind the counter. I've gotten some odd size stuff there.

Re: Rear Apron Bolts
As soon as I typed it in I thought hardware store, so away I will go this weekend. Should have lots of places to find them.

Re: Rear Apron Bolts
Question, I took apart my rear bumper and busted three of the crusty bolts on it. These are the round end, with square shaft ones that fit in the bumper so they can be screwed in. I found them, Bus Boys has them, might ask if they have a package and I can replace them all, mine a CRUSTY, at least the ones that survived.

Re: Rear Apron Bolts
I used 7/16" wrench sized carriage bolts from the hardware store.

Re: Rear Apron Bolts
same here. My bus couldn't tell they weren't metric, so I think we got away with it.Hippie wrote:I used 7/16" wrench sized carriage bolts from the hardware store.
