I've had it happen. Luckily the other guy or gal didn't swerve to the shoulder as I did to get out of the way. It's a pisser. But the fact it wasn't a full frontal collision...shit, CK would be dead.

Man, that car had a Presence.
I am at a Starbucks here outside of Blue Springs MO with this non-descript Dodge Caravan, and not ten minutes ago, the barrista said "where is your beautiful VW?"
I looked at her utterly stupidly and pained. "You remember?"

Can you believe it?

Yes I can. The car had presence, but apparently you do too since she remembered YOU without the car.

I was at the Dead show this spring in Greensboro and this stranger walks up to me and goes, "Great Bus man," I looked at him perplexed and he said he saw me driving it on I-40 going to the show....People notice nice VW buses these days!
Take care,
Rick

im guessing its the shorts
I feel like I'm laughing during the funeral service, but I can't help it!

The Bus was, and the shorts are, part of the Colin persona. A Caravan is just not going to cut it. A Eurovan, at least???

The Dodge Caravan (and it's triplet siblings the Plymouth Voyager, and the Chrysler Town and Country) are 5th on the list of cars traded in for the Cash for Clunkers program. But, hey! there's lots of room inside! :blackeye:

Priceless, that people still remember you from previous travels.
