I deleted a rant from the New York New Heads thread where I excoriated Mann for their new thinner air filter that cost twice as much as our full size Mahle, thinkinging that it was cheap-skating. Well, Fred Vandegrift set me straight ....
LX220 is for a Type 4 BUS
The C2290 is for the 411/412

No problem, I wouldn't have known either if it wasn't for the Mann specs, it's not like you see a 411 every day.

I like 'em. I had no idea there was a thinner 411 filter.
How am I to build my knowledge of VW esoterica if you don't pop off every once in awhile?
