Does this post mean that NW is the ride of choice for the 2017 itinerary?

It means that it is going to Florida.
IF I manage to find a suitable operating theater for an engine overhaul, I would like to transplant a new crankcase into Chloe's current engine and take the cow around for the main lap.

This poor engine began life with a blown rod through the case within three weeks of its rebuild.
Mike said, and I quote, " oops."
Welded magnesium case, loose main bearing nuts, add 78,000 miles of hard highway driving, and we have end play and a loose #1 main bearing.
It is time for me to have full ownership of the engine.
I am going to reuse all parts but the case and bearings.

Might be the solution to my problems as well.

Personally, I'm hoping you do the next round with Chloe ... it's the only itinerant vehicle I haven't seen.... I've witnessed the Road Warrior, the Lexus, BobD, and NaranjaWesty.
Cheers,
Mke

I'll look forward to seeing Chloe, however I am surprised with all the comfort creatures of NW that you aren't taking it again.
The twin westies have been all snuggled up in the garage for the last 3 months. We've had almost 3 feet of snow on the ground for about 45 days now. Epic winter here. Been snow catting right from the house. (Ps, I sold the vw powered snow trac
and upgraded to a 1968 Tucker sno cat and have put more miles on it this last month that my regular cars.)
Anyway, looking forward to another visit!!

Whoa! A Tucker Sno Cat! Colin could extend the Itinerant Tour to year round by driving that around the country.

I hope Colin wasn't stuck in any of those storms we had a few days ago, haven't heard from him yet...

I was under the same hail and tornado watch as you were. I rode it out in Lakeland.
Today I am in Fort Myers, meandering to Miami.

Didn't realize you were even here! Out on the coast I didn't notice it much, just rain, lightning and wind mostly.
