I certainly enjoyed my brief visits to NM. The landscape is immense. I decided it is the "anti-Oregon".

Depends on which Oregon, though. Drove up into Eastern Oregon from Nevada two years ago; I had forgotten how beautiful it is there, the wide open valleys, and the deep river gorges. Oregon is an amazing state in it's own right, and much that can be experienced elsewhere can be experienced there!

We won't tell anyone that the above photograph is actually Utah, right? I just had to use that one for those listless city dwellers. I am on my way to Utah tomorrow morning.
