If the time machine circuitry has double relay or AFM components, Colin is likely to end up as a witness to the Gettysburg Address, or watching the development of amphibians...

If Colin ended up at the dawn of amphibians he might enjoy basking with them since he seems to follow the sun!
But he would no doubt be able to service his bus using things he only found on the rest of the car to make his repairs with I'm sure!

Nah, Jeff...if he followed the sun, he'd be down here with us right now. Man, it's hot working in the yard today. He needs to get back down here pronto. I got a load of stuff on the bus to get into. He is probably in a Catskill's cabin right now drawing detailed cylinder head fins, by kerosene lamp light, for The Book...

Ive never had a longer list of 'to do's' for my bus than I do this year, but if it meant getting this book out the door - im sure id survive one year without a visit.
the bus might not be so lucky, but id be fine.
