Not articulated half enough, this summer was Grand Good Damn Difficult Gorgeous-Beyond-Measure. This summer, I got into this itinerant thing, I got it, I get it. Camped cramped-n-damped, drove deleriously deliberate, strode confidently into numerous kitchens in search of coffee, happily plowed into the concepts scribbled at the dining room tables, anxious to get to work on another air-cooled VW, appalled again and always at how fast the days evaporate, but better yet, this big country continues to give of its boundless beauty. Beseeching for some heat off the young sunrise in chilly Vermont, baked noons outside Vegas, railroad tracks glinting in the afternoon light of Nowhere Texas, the sun sets west and the cold returns to the misted valleys of rural Pennsylvania, ( mild breezes on the balcony under the Miami moon in November . . . ) my appetite only grows for this experience.

Re: 2013 Results Just In!
Europe has tons of old VW's in need of repair/advice but I haven't been down under yet so I can't give a opinion on it.

Re: 2013 Results Just In!
What I would be curious to see:
- How many cancellations did you have this year - and for previous years if you still have that info. I know that was a big problem for you this year.
- What do you feel the max number of visits you can comfortably get in in a season - realize that there are many variables in this (creaky joints included ).
Cheers,
Mike

Those would be cool / depressing to see. IIRC the '10 IAC was a mad-house as Colin ran all around the place.TrollFromDownBelow wrote:What I would be curious to see:
