What draws you to the PNW.....420 friendly?? As for the frog situation, better stay there. We have tree frogs that like to get on the windows of the Florida room (glassed in porch that is heated/cooled) and the eat the bugs that are attracted by the lights. Almost as much fun as watching an electric bug zapper.

The charm is that, unlike snow, rain runs off the streets and down into little holes along the curbs, where it promptly disappears.

There is no charm to the PNW winter weather, it sucks. Thats why it has a high suicide rate! People tend to hide out all winter reading books, watching Netflix and smoking weed.

Well Washington state is certainly 420 friendly. Today was a preview for the upcoming winter, although warmer. Enough rain I was glad not to have to drive into town. Don't have to water the garden for a spell. And yesterday I wrapped up my third effort at home brewing minutes before the rains started.

Makes me pine for chantrelle mushrooms, and a run up to the fungus wonderland also called Old Maid Flats for a bit of camping ... as soon as I get a new engine put together for Bertha Bus, sigh.

I drove down to Portland today in the rain which is sooo fun but atleast it warmed up to 68F. Lots of fun visiting friends here and then back to Seattle hopefully to sunny days. Got to see a nearly finished Orange convertible super beetle today, so nice!

I've seen some photos from you guys of those rocky coastlines. Beautiful stuff.
