Re: What's In A Name?
I do like Chloe. She may be a Jersey girl but certainly no Jersey Looker. She looks so innocent standing there under that rainbow.
I have fears though. Soon she will venture West and be far from the familiar surroundings of home. What will the Hereford's say? Do they get along with Jersey cows? The thought of such a sweet looking girl being bull-ied by some ill-willing Hereford makes me shudder. Does she know what she is getting into?

Re: What's In A Name?
Many many years ago, back in my hometown, there used to be a white bus running around with black painted splotches in a pretty decent Hereford pattern. Thankfully the owner refrained from mounting a pair of horns on the front (or a pair of testes on the back), but there was a tiny little pucker painted right above the rear hatch handle.
I seem to recall that the vanity plate read "DAISY".

Re: What's In A Name?
I like Chloe. It matches your bus. I have yet to name mine. I haven't driven her enough to sense her character yet.

Re: What's In A Name?
So, you'd spell that using the dieresis:Amskeptic wrote:Pronounced Chloee. Slowy Chloe.
Chloë
My daughter Zoë does that, so that it is clear that it is not pronounced "Zo".
So, is Chloë making the rounds this year?

I am expecting so. That bus has so much little work that needs to be done on it, that it is like a candy store for me.jtauxe wrote:So, you'd spell that using the dieresis:Amskeptic wrote:Pronounced Chloee. Slowy Chloe.

However, I will have to have a long chat with the engine, it has no idea what's coming . . .
