Just an FYI re; Central Texas. Massive Wildfire ACTIVITY! 13 counties and counting, due to windy conditions and low humidity, and thousands of acres are burnt/or still burning. I'm assuming you are in North or West TX still Colin, but in case you aren't.

I am done with my Dallas call and am moseying up I-30 over to Arkansas, so I have missed all but some brown streakishness in the air. It is a very nice sunny 90 daytime/70 night time moonlit Texas countryside gloryin.

The temps have been dropping, you should be good for a while.

I was good when it was hot, Steve. These frosty 70* nights and chilly 85* days are my just punishment. I hope to adapt to these plunging temperatures ...

Bill? I love Texas. I'll be back in late October or early November ... if my "new" car holds together.

How is That 70's Bus holding up, Colin?

When you left here, you were off to reclaim it. I assume that all went well.

BTW, did you get your LM-1 sensor and endplay shims that I sent to James Dwan?

The pickup is running wonderfully, aside from a bit of backfire on the deceleration. I must look into the decel valve, perhaps switching out with that very weird one that was in the '77 Westy.

I have no idea. I left your house and continued the Itinerary as POSTED IN THIS ITINERARY FORUM where there are many delightful stories and pretty pictures of my sprucing up the BOBD's exhaust and whatnot, as I traversed Texas in the BOBD to Atlanta, where I will be flying out, as POSTED IN THIS FORUM, to Portland OR on October 4th, to reclaim that 1970 bus!

I did, and thank you. Why the smaller Type 1 shims?
