I've always heard it is bad, bad bus karma to change the name of a VW if you know the given name when received. Still not quite understanding the urgency to change RD's name. Mike named it RD. Good enough for me. If new name MUST be given, Bookwus is my vote too.

busses earn their names, they are not simply assigned out of want.
let it claim it's own title in time.
Ive had my current bus for slightly over a year now and it has yet to lay claim on anything in particular.

And Colin, as I stated in a previous PM, consider me a supremely interested party in taking that Squareback off your hands if you're looking to recoup some of the cost of Ruptured Duck (or whatever the old girl will be going by). :)

I can only dream that I will be as missed and Bertha so coveted after my demise. It is, however, a bit disconcerting to think that my care and maintenance of Bertha should come under such scrutiny. Warts and all.
