Would there be any possibility of tempting you to come on down to Key West for a day?
Let me know

Hey Colin,
I have a 1982 westfalia, 35K on the Boston Bob rebuild. it's actually in pretty good shape.
My list? General look-see, AFM adjustment, Brake inspection, Investigate oil leak from after-market oil-cooler adapter. That should keep us busy for a bit.
Thanks
Jim Sweet

Yep, and I am pretty good at finding new horrifying things that must be attended to. . . .

That's kinda what I figured. Better now than sometime "down the road"
My plan is to hit the road next year and travel. I'm pretty good with a wrench, but I'm always open to learning more.
Let me know when you want to come to Key West. For now my daze off are Tuesday Wednesday.

I would like to be penciled in for a visit when you come thru Ohio. I dont know what my bus needs yet, and it is 2600 miles or so away.( I bought it while on vacation. The bus is in Templeton, California and I am in Canton, Ohio, awaiting shipping at a reasonable price. I could get it shipped right now if money were no object) All I know that is wrong with it right now is that something is draining the battery. My goal is to make it a good runnin bus year-round in the cold Ohio winters. Maybe even with a heater that heats?!?
So how long do I have until I have to commit ? (that sounds like something I said to HER last night)

Reminds me of a motorcycle ad I saw on TV.
Day exterior, large country porch. Grandpa and two youngsters are whiling away the summer afternoon.
Grandpa: "Yah, I was gonna buy a Harley and ride it across the country"
Kids: "Oooooh! Did ya, Gramps, did ya?"
Grandpa: "Nope. I bought vinyl siding instead."

After my editing, your post looks like a Grandpa interrupting the dinner conversation about commodities futures, "heh, that li'l Plymouth sure could go like scat. . . . . ."
So, deposits? Folks, deposits.

Just sent mine. June can't come quick enough! Especially since it snowed here (again!) yesterday.

Hey Colin,
Minnesota seems underrepresented this year! What say ye to a day in Minneapolis? Can do?
remember the bad rebuild? (rocker arm supports in upside down, etc) Well it is running a little better now. Let me know if/when you may have time.
I have no specific goal other than to fine tune the engine (and fine tune my understanding of my engine). I am taking it to Yellowstone and back next week.

Hmmmmm... can I convince you to cruise the bus through the Tetons to Jackson, Wyo., around June 9 or 10 on your way to Missoula? Maybe we could do just a half-day if you're in a rush...
BusBerd... just want to make sure you're aware most of Yellowstone roads won't begin to open until April 18...
