Wright's Beach, Sonoma County

Post by Ritter » Sun Apr 25, 2010 7:33 pm

First family bus camp of the year. Wright's Beach in Sonoma County. Getting reservations (yes, necessary in California, even for camping) is a 6 month in advance (for weekends) endeavor. Sharing time:

Home for the weekend.

Still going!

Amazing northern coast weather and sunset.

Crashed, finally.

Nice! I miss the Sonoma coast. Went camping once at Salt Point State Park back when I was in the Scouts, otherwise never bothered 'cuz it's was so close to home.

Well .. never *intentionally* spent the night there after that. :cyclopsani:

Used to be one of our favorites when we first moved to SF. Lovely place! We once got washed into the ocean while sunbathing on the beach there. Those sneaker waves are crazy. Indeed lovely weather this weekend!
