You think you can find it? Ignore the maps Hammy posted...I tried to intervene...but to no avail. Follow my directions....or meet Jasan and me at the Tygh Valley store at 9am tomorrow. Hope to see you Mike... it's been WAY too long. Or...follow the smoke coming from the maps Bob is burning along the way....will at least get you close....then follow the smoke from there :drunken:

So what happened to all these wild hairs? Friday and Saturday were just about perfect for this time of year. Don't know what happened Saturday night since I had to leave about 4:00. Loved the spot though. Quiet and just far enough off the main road to not see any other cars the whole time. Summer might be a little different though.

Here's what greeted me on the way over the mountain. Was not expecting this at all. At the turn off to Maupin there was about six inches of unplowed white stuff with me being only the second vehicle down the road from hwy26. Forgot my camera so these are crappy shots from my Blackberry.

Then about 15 minutes later and 1000 less feet vertical sunny and just wet.

Image

Still a little bit of dusting at the campsite Friday morning.

What a great trip. Man I sure don't want to be back at work...
Missed the 2 no-shows...held up hope but it wasn't to be. Wasn't the same without you.
Am considering Little Badger camp in the next couple weeks, we'll see. Would be a great family spot if the weather cooperates.

Wow, nice shots. Couldn't make it, and would've missed ogling a friend's new (to him) 1966 Sunbeam Tiger. He flew up to Vancouver, BC, to pick it up, and stopped in for a visit on his drive back to San Francisco. Immaculate car. Way out of my price range. Cheryle got some video shot of it we will be sharing at some point.

Glad it was a good trip for youse all!
