I may be able to split thursday PM, but otherwise Friday AM. If it's nice we should camp!
Jasan it wouldn't be the same without ya. No last minute shenannnnigans for you. I"m sure you need a camp trip really bad like the rest of us.
I really want to explore Little Badger Creek if anyone is up for a hike or 2.
Eva may be out, spring break activities. April camp Big Bottom? Elk Lake Creek? Next time. :flower:

Yeah...thought about that .... my concern is... I want to spend full days friday and saturday and am concerned that the boys may find that three nights is too much to stay entertained (more concerned about eli than zane...zane will just dig a deeper hole or make a more sophisticated house for us to live in if the weather turns ugly) and want to bail out saturday night....don't want that. It it was an early thursday departure then yeah...let's do it...otherwise I think an early friday gig is better for us. Eva wouldn't bother me at all...in fact i think our kids would have a blast together and you'll find that it is much easier to bring her with zane and eli to take on the entertainment role (10 years from now? that's another story...we'll be watching their every move) :flower:

Lil Badger Forecast:

Friday: A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 53.
Friday Night: A slight chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 57.
Saturday Night: A slight chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34.

Sunday: A slight chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55.

I'll probably be heading out Friday AM unless the weather changes.

Zane would say "we laugh at the weather" yeah...I'm not basing too much on weather predictions...it will change for better or worse by the weekend....promise. So...if Friday...wanna meet in Tygh Valley? Eva coming? Erin coming? Jasan coming? Tosa coming?

Jasan was talking about maybe heading out there Thurs nite. I'm still not sure if I can get away Thurs, most likely it's Friday AM leaving here at sunup.
Do you want me to post a photo of that map I have? Assuming I'm lookin in the right spot, but it looks like just west of the Lil Badger crossing.

Directions. If you're coming in 84, take 84 east to The Dalles...last exit number 87. Head south on 197 about 35 miles to the flashing light at Tygh Valley. Turn right into town...and at the tavern, turn a hard right taking you toward the fair ground. Go past the fairgrounds...stay on the main road...it will turn to gravel with signs saying "Badger Creek Rd" or something. Stay on this for 8 miles give or take and you'll pass a small campground with toilet on your left (Little Badger) .... continue on another mile or so, and you'll see a two track to your left with a little road marker that says something like 1002710 .... turn here...we plan to be on this road. If not....worse case....go back to main road and take a left....carry on to the next major gravel rd on your left, follow that down the canyon to Bonney Crossing....doubtful we'll be there....only if our 1st sites are taken. If coming from 216...go left at 197, continue to flasher at Tygh Valley and turn left. Follow above directions from there.

Forecast appears to be improving a bit for the weekend...Saturday looks to be a dandy, and only slight chance of rain on Friday.
