Sorry to hear that. You'll be missed. Hope to see you in Maupin if not before.

Just a warning, I intend on sleeping late. Woo Hoo!!! I can't wait. I am so looking forward to this camping trip. Got my beer tasting beers today. Going to start packing tomorrow.

Going to camp soon.
Friends and beer and ocean scenes.
Volkswagens galore!

Hey Dick, ifn' yer into crock pot cookin, this is the trip for it. Eletric hookups make for a nice set it-n-ferget it affair. 'Sides, after the beer tastin gets started, who has time to be tendin' to the gumbo, Wayne runs a pretty tight schedule.

I plan on a low impact contribution to the pot luck this trip. No coastal adventure treks with carsick hooligans to attempt to pull manna from the sea this year. At least not those that take me more than a couple hundred yards away from the keg. :pirate:

Haven't even looked at camp gear yet.

4 days...
So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....

I'm pretty sure you're getting brownies... the normal kind.

Speaking of the AC hookup. Do you have to have one of them fancy three-pronged RV cords that looks like a tiny dryer plug? I'm thinking I should round one of them up. I don't really have anything to plug in, but even though I was only a Cub Scout, I want to be prepared.

Nah, you can get by with a standard extension cord ... I think it sorta depends on what you're plugging in ... if I run anything it's a small heater and an extension cord works fine. I do always carry one of the heavier adapters though...just in case.

I'm gonna try and talk Wayne into taking the shortcut this year. Should be clear road given the warm temps we've been experiencing. Shaves 20 minutes off the drive and is a cool road. Or, I'll take the shortcut and have my camp all set and the fire blazin' by the time Wayne pulls in :geek:

Anyone leaving P-town after work Friday?

Haven't done a damn bit of packing and the bus is full of crap for storage.

Guest tomorrow. Thursday's gonna be the night for prep.

Don't forget firewood. Lot's of it.

I am quivering with anticipation...

I'll take the shortcut. If we get stuck in the snow it's not like we don't have food, shelter and the KEG!!!!

Hey now , don't be putting the keg in jeopardy! And you, of course. Don't put yourself in peril, yeah. :flower:
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.
