what about a lil campy trip? Will depend on snow levels...but I'm thinking somewhere White River / Barlow Creek area. Zane is jonzin' for one last camp trip before he hangs it up for the winter. Any takers?

Alas I will be out of town with my wife for her birthday present, ironically quite close to the first Snow Camp grounds.
Still not sure about a Dec. Maupin run. Mebbe, I'll let u know.
What about a Snow Camp in January? That would suit us. Since you joined a band and sold your soul and ruined everything. :geek:

But don't let me stop the rest o' you! I don't think I've missed a camp yet.

Wouldn't be "quite" the same without you Bob (oh crap...there I go using your first name again...your credit will be ruined :geek: ) Yeah, I don't know what we're doing...just feelin' the need to camp with my boy before it gets too cold out there.

From the Wet Westies site:

Champoeg State Park Campout
by admin
Date: November 20, 2009 - November 22, 2009
Time: FULL DAY
Duration: FULL DAY

We have electricity - please if you have come in the past you know the drill bring 30 amp adapters, heavy gauge extension cords, and please only one heater (15 amp max) per bus. Try not to do TVs, microwaves, or coffee makers in your bus without coordinating it with everyone plugged in. Thanks (last year we over did it).
Cost is $10-$12 per night depending on how many show up. max 20 /night.

In the past we have had different people friday and saturday nights, so if you can only make one night please feel free to come on by. Traditional potluck Saturday night. Friday night we usually
gather and share more informally and also all day Saturday. In the past we have tried a pancake breakfast on Sunday so keep that in mind too. Activities abound on park property and frequently tie dyeing is an option. Tthere is usually a fair share of picture sharing, winter destinations discussed and small projects going on.

Please rsvp ( a451301@yahoo.com ) if you can come or have a special request. OR JUST SHOW UP! :-)

Everyone is welcome. Checkout is early afternoon -checkin is 4pm friday.

Plus they "camp" in a big parking lot, right on the asphalt. It seems to be more of a social gathering.

Nope. Bailed. Too friggin' cold...even for us hearty souls. Hung around here, took the boys bowling (jeepers has THAT gotten expensive!) and worked on projects around the property.
