Burning Man 2009

Post by misszora » Sat Oct 03, 2009 10:36 pm

Whew! It's taken quite a while to get my head together and decompress a bit. I was on the road for over two weeks including 10 days at Burning Man.
I can only say that it is a different experience for everyone and that you should try it at least once in your life.

This is my road trip...you'll have to copy & paste the whole line. The URL tags aren't working for me at the moment.

WORKING ON THIS...HATING PHOTOBUCKET AT THE MOMENT...

It's because of the spaces in "Burning Man 2009". Most URLs don't have spaces.

Yeah, that's the URL photobucket generates...boo! I can rename my file with underscores and try it again.

It's not the computer's fault...it's Photobucket allowing spaces.

Wow, Paige, you are a shootin' DYNAMO. Great images!

I really have the urge to go there now. I've often thought that BM would be a great thing to do. It's not "over" ?

Not sure I'd like to subject Frito or my camera to all that airborne dust, though. Did you have any camera problems?

No camera problems for the most part...some folks bring a can of compressed air and I always put my camera in a little fabric bag when not in use.

....man thank you a million for sharing the photos! BM is on my bucket list for sure! :drunken:

A VW friend from Napa told me about BM maybe 18+ years ago and I always wanted to go, but I'm always just too poor or busy to do so, until now!

That looks hot, dirty, dry, claustrophobic, awful and yet, somehow, intriguing! Thanks for sharing the pics.

Is your cat really named Boo Radley? One of ours is named Scout. Our other cat looks just like Boo.

That's a lot of pictures, Paige! Nice. Took me a long time to work through them all. Dusty arty colorful hippies. Blows my mind. Thanks for sharing.

It IS dirty, hot, dry, not claustrophobic nor awful for me, and indeed intriguing!

My kitty is indeed named Boo Radley. :drunken:
