Back from the Redwoods in our Eriba Puck!

Post by amishman » Wed Sep 16, 2009 7:13 pm

So, after owning and cleaning up our little Eriba Puck the last, what, 2 to 3 years I think, we are heading out FINALLY on our maiden voyage. Going to camp for 10 nights up in the northern California redwoods. I will not sleep tonight as I am eager to get on the road. Should be fun sleeping in this little hotel on wheels. I will be blogging about it, for the heck of it, using my iPhone. Will take some snapshots and tell a blurb or two about it. If you want to follow our little adventure, check out my blog.

Wish us luck and happy safe voyage!

I have to wait to 2:30AM to wake up and get the wife showered so we can leave by 3:30. So, until then, I be playing on the net. I am all packed and lazying out before I have about 9.5 hours of driving to do tomorrow.

One came up for sale in Portland a couple months ago...cheep too. Was tempted to buy it but didn't see where I'd use it. I'll probably regret not getting it!!!

Wife and I had a great time. The Puck did well to be our little hotel on wheels for 10 nights of camping. We are back home safe and sound and happy to have had our 1st adventure in the little bubble on wheels. :cyclopsani:

Looks like a fun trip!

Ever since going to China back in '85, I can only drink that beer at room temp. Brings out some pretty complex flavors for such a lighty.

It was rather tasty. Wife and I ate shelled peanuts all week + I drank more beer than I normally do. Camping does that to a man I would say. :flower:

Yep, I was in China for a while back in 87 and I was amazed at how good some of the Chinese beer is. A leftover tradition inherited from the Germans when China was divided up by the Europeans.

So....TJ...you shell your peanuts before eating them? Anybody out there eat 'em whole.....shell and all?
