The trip went well. We took my son Brian with us on this trip so we could fish a bit. Had a nice drive over. The "circle" at Mark's place was empty, so we took a spot in the corner where we thought we might have a good view of the sky. The weather was nice and warm and the sky had a few clouds and some blue spots......but as the day wore on the clouds thickened. The same thing happened both days. No star visibility both days. Maybe we should have headed way further east to be sure it would have been clear. Even despite not seeing what we wanted to see, we had a great time and we had fun fishing. The only downside to the adventure was the mosquitos at the campsite. Literally tons of them. We left a few quarts of blood lighter I am sure and I am still scratching today. We have some pics that we will post later.

Next year we will research the best place to go to see the Meteor Shower and see if we can organize a group campout.
