Camping in the ANF

Post by gmag69 » Wed Jul 01, 2009 8:51 pm

Well I haven't been camping in ages so my g/f and I decided to take our son out since he is off school for a few weeks and I was off for my 4 days. We had her dad and 2 of her brothers join us also. We drank some beer, had some laughs and a good time was had by all. I hated to come back but I had to work tonite so I had to. My next investment after I get my new truck payed down will be a piece of land to go camping on out by the national forest. Can't wait. Here are some pics.

Our campsite for the 4 days.

A rare moment caught on film. Her brother without a beer in his hand.lol

Hope to get in some more camping this summer.Wish I could have taken the bus out. Hopefully one of these days.

Hope you enjoy this. I know I did.

That looks like a good time there. A real pretty area for sure.

That spot is about 20 minutes from my house. I feel real fortunate to live here. I've grow up running around in the woods and live 1 block away from it. I never really payed much attention to it though.I guess I was just so used to it.

Campsite darts! Only in NY I tell ya

LOVE the first creek photo, that is a beautiful shot. Your little guy is adorable too. How old is he now Geno?

Glad you had a nice time. It's always hard to come back to reality after a camping trip. Always! Lucky you to live so close too. :flower:

The only thing sadder than them growing up, is if they didn't grow up.
