*curtsies while blushing* Thanks Mark! :flower:

It's not just me, it's Jeffrey too, of course :cherry:

Hey Rick, I know you'd have a good time, but yeah, a long haul as Hammie pointed out a while back. I checked Mapquest for grins and it's about 300 miles less for us driving one way from our place in Austin, 2029.18 for a grand total of 4058.36 round trip. I actually thought it would have been further but who knows with Mapquest. I'd use our trusty Magellan.

I've said it before I am sure, but I have been to get togethers with folks I've met online before and I've always really enjoyed myself. This will be the first time I've gone camping for one though.

The Maupin weekend will be special because it will mark a first enjoyable Father's Day for Jeffrey in the (almost) 10 years that I've known him. And that is something I've wanted for him, a nice memory for that day. So this fits the bill. We are really excited about this too!! Still!!

Gonna be quite an IAC contingency. Can't wait to meet those I haven't already.

I'll be the wandering minstrel with the empty beer glass... :geek:

Do y'all only drink beer and coffee?? Jeffrey's the beer aficionado in our house, but I'd be the shot girl - whiskey and tequila (though not at the same time!) and also a fine wine at times....will there be anybody to share that with me? :colors:

Not sure why exactly, but that comment made me think of a Midori Sour. Must be the green? I think if my choice were that or beer, I'd go with the beer every time. :alien:

I never have been much of a fu-fu girlie drink type of woman.

The porta john wasn't as nice as I was hoping on that Sunday Morning after a very active Saturday, (both for me and the Porta).

I will also take in more water and not as much variety in libations...

I think the beer tasting and several types of Spirits didn't play nice...

Too much fun.

(is there an actual photo?). Was I wearing my cape?

Trip to visit friends in Maupin = price of airfare + spending monies

Sing along and party with folks you've only known in print for the first time in 5 years = $$$$

Sunday morning photo of half-way in and half-way out sleeping caped-crusader Gypsie, after having his way with a Port-a-Pottie? PRICELESS!
