I should have my CVs done by then, so should be there, too!

 Thanks Neal. Your kind remark made me smile! :flower:

I'm working on Phred's CV Boots next Saturday, even though we're flying to PDX in June. I told Colin I wanted to "get dirty" with him and this is what I get to get dirty doing! HA!

Yes, miracles do happen every day! Especially when there's an angel close by

I'm glad you're going but to me flying somewhere to go camping is just wrong!?!?!? And going to a VW gathering without yours....wrong too. Why aren't you driving Phred?
Take care,

Rick, there are several reasons why not: First and foremost, we both don't have the time off it would take to drive Phred to OR and back with other plans and possible job opportunities for our company we now have in the mix.

August is pretty much sewed up with all of our available time: For the first couple of weeks, I'll be in OH with Mojo welcoming Madison and hanging with my girls. Note that Mr. VWLover77! We should come to your LeakOil gig in August if you let us know :king:

Beginning the last week of August, I'll be in grad school (whole other post, that). IF our current business pans out, we'll be in NYC the last week of September.

Beyond that, Phred needs his seats and seatbelts replaced which is next on his agenda - interior! :flower:

At this point I would say that NEXT YEAR would probably be the year we'll drive to Maupin, but right now it is too soon to speculate. We did take Phred camping a week ago here locally and he did just fine. I'll post on that in another thread too.

Thank you to EVERYBODY, most especially Colin and Mr. Bookwus, for your good juju and energy and assistance. You all helped and made this possible for us.

Now if it would just hurry up and be June already!!

Colin is fun to get dirty with :flower: just put Ivory soap under your nails before you start massaging those joints.

See ya in JUNE ! Barb

Because according to Google maps it's 2305 miles 1 way to Maupin, a little far for for 1 weekend of camping.......

So, if you're not up to driving your bus this far to go camping, fly here to enjoy the event like Z...I'll accept you in any vehicle...even a rental...as long as you get past Tristessa at the gate :cherry:
