I'll go, but if that chain up crap is goin on over the Coast Range passes, I think I'm stayin home. Last year kinda sucked. But rain, I laff at rain.
Of course it depends on if I have an engine in the bus, it may be in pieces.

One of my Fave gatherings.

Have to keep close tabs on the wet instruments though. Just got the mandolin back together after a rain induced split front and back!!! Doh!

Same Loop? Kinda liked the area we gathered last year (SW corner of loop A). Specially the way the bussess moved all on their own when we went hiking.

And the Rain fly trees in Johns site. What # was that site?

It's on our radar. We will prolly meet Mark in Maupin and head to the coast together.

I'm in for sure, likely most probably heading out Thursday morning to make a 3 nighter of it. So, Spiff, head to Maupin Wednesday night and we'll carabus to the beach first thing Thursday morning. And Hambone, snow or no snow, you're comin'! Wasn't the "snow camp" thing your idea in the first place? Jeepers, don't be gittin' all grumpy pants on us.

And yes, the same area as last year....A20ish by the beach access.

In the yurt?

Wayne, this is a great gathering. Lots of campfire, music, food, beer, beach walking, bike riding, oyster eating, beer, relaxing, beer, more campfire, bigger campfire because it's cold and raining, more beer, and yet a bigger campfire before our late night beach walk, known by many as the "stoney stumble" (I'll take credit for that one...glad it caught on as it did) followed by Gypsie saying "gosh, there are buses parked all the way down here!" Followed by the rest of us saying "Stephan, those are OUR buses" Hope you can make this one.

You guys were in the A20 area last year? Doesn't that get the worst of the wind?

It's pretty sheltered by the dunes. Actually the year (4 years ago???) when we had the huge wind storm, I was in A19 or something and was considering moving over to where you guys were. The host said "are you nuts? You're in the most sheltered area of the campground"

Yeah, most of the bays were in the A19-A28ish area. Worked out well. But, camp where you are most comfy. I'll likely stick to the 20's if that is the majority concensus. Chime in folks.
