Gypsie Hide-away
Okay, I have been hinting and hoping. I really wanted to get the keys this weekend though it was not meant to be.
Mrs. Gypsie and I have scraped the ducats together to buy a little cabin by the Deschutes River.
Really, the Deschutes river in Washington, near Rainier.
Just a little shack in the woods.
The 'river is more like a creek...
This section has spots up to a foot deep! Lots of crayfish and freshwater mussels.
It's not very big but it stands four comfortably....
Okay That's actually half the reason I would buy into buying a cabin in the woods. It's a family thang, or at least that's how I am looking at it.
I still get to get out into the woods and my lady has a place to ...um...retire to... when the time comes.
This is the actual cabin....
We are going up this weekend to do a little cleaning. The last owners did not visit much in the past 10+ years. Lots of time spent moist and cold. Lots of paper and fabric has provided just the right food for a great mold colony to grow.
We are looking forward to many visits in the years to come, and I hope to have a bus gathering soon to break 'er in as it were.
I will bump this back up when I am getting closer to hosting something.

So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....
