Goodwill tire chain find

Post by deschutestrout » Sun Aug 10, 2008 4:36 pm

Went to Goodwill in Portland the other day. Brand new, never used set of Les Schwab chains that will fit my bus or bug...$2.99 WOOOOOT! Will be better than the piece of #$!# cable chains I've been using.

Which goodwill was that? I ask because .. well, when you look at the price tag and think "are these people on crack?? I can buy a new XXX for that price!" (and you actually *can*, same brand & everything) .. it'd be good to know where they've got someone pricing things more realistically.

Now, that said .. why didn't you say you were gonna be in Portland? I'd've bought ya a beer if I'd known...

Yeah what the hell MARK?? We all adore you so and had to drink more beer to compensate. Well I did anyway. But it was Olympia in cans. And I liked it.

We are hard pressed to find Oly in this neighborhood. How is that stuff? My old man used to drink it.
