Finally!! Going to feel grrrrreat!!

I think it's funny how they use all caps, makes everything they say sound "urgent".

They could just make it simple: "IT'S GOING TO BE F**KING HOT AS BALLS".

Just sayin.

It was 80* out this morning when I went to get the paper at 6:00 am. Around here, that just ain't right. We're supposed to have coastal cooling at night so we can survive a hot day... It looks like we'll be passing the old record high of 97*.

Hope you Oregonians are happy! :pirate:

I'm getting awfully tired of this shit..............60° one day and 98° the next then back to 60°. It's hard on the body to get acclimated to.

I bet it was! Hopefully the rain and snow melt get off set a little or we could be in for some serious flooding.

Yeah, guess where we were when this damn storm front came through? Sure wasn't the beautiful weather we had last year in the San Juans.

Yep. We left a couple of days early and went up the outside of the Olympics on 101 just when it was getting hot here in town but by the time we hit San Juan on Saturday the clouds started rolling in. Had thunder storms on Sunday and showers off and on between sun breaks most of the week.

Only hit like 70 degrees here today. I'm in long sleeves and jeans...tis still August...I live in the desert...100 is toooo friggin' hot, but 85 would be nice. This continues to be the most bizarre "summer" I can remember. Anyone up for October snow camp 2008?

Kind of the same here in Chicago, cool lots of the time, I was getting wistful for the end of summer, but the last two days have gotten us into the 80's and I'm happy with the heat factor.
