Just got done packing, I will be there. With a chainsaw no less!
It is so much easier to pack when it's just me.
I can't wait to get the Hell out of here...I wish the woods/city ratio were reversed. Mebbe once I truly codger.
Well I will miss you guys but it will be nice and quiet.

Shhhhhhh..... I'll see. One of those never-happens-anymores.

"Hey! Nice bus! I have a an old '58 camper that's been sitting in a barn for 20 years. Should still drive. Dunno what it's worth, maybe you could come check it out...."

::twitch, twitch::

"Ummm, sure, why not....."

Last Friday after hiking down a trail, I came upon Hambone camped out nearby. Happy coincidence! Same place we camped last year on Memorial Day weekend camp out. The cold beer was greatly appreciated.
Sorry I couldn't make it this year in my bus, but you know the story.

Usual trip out for me. Drove three hours to end up staring at a well and thoroughly (quite obscenely, actually) decommished road. Made camp for the night, woke up, made coffee, checked my map and scaled a lava face with only the power lines as a reference. Found Camp Hambone about a mile above my camp. Sat waiting for him with my rifle, stealing his bananas for two hours....

Yup. Back to the coal mine. Trying to engineer a door that opens to become a service counter and sushi display. It's not easy.
