Hey, all of that clever engineering costs a ton of money...

Plus it doesn't hurt either that it looks hand built.

Is that the rear suspension of a vanagon? Sure looks like it.

It sure does. Looks like they bolted up the drive shaft flange as a shock absorber mount and run the wheel on a stationary spindle out the other side.

Hey Jasan, keep the bus and tow the trailer with it. Then your whole set-up sleeps eight.

Not quite. According to The Google $1 OZ=$0.93US

Still, not an inexpensive unit. You have to admire the intelligence in the design though. Somebody's done their research.
