I will be going in the morning, just as soon as I roll out of the sack. I will be wearing the "emblem of shame" still on my explorer for my bus isn't ready yet. Argh!

Come see me at work -- we've at least got lantern fuel. Propane too, if you want the little green bottles. Can't help with beer, chips or gas though...

It's almost outshining our sodium light. Hopefully this cold I've been fighting all week will back off by tomorrow.

Thank you guys for the best camp in 20 years!!! And right after the worst camp in just as long.
It's clammy and foggy back in Portland.

Still can't believe this is the end of October. When you have to find shade to stay cool in the Oregon Cascades at 4400ft in October it's a strange fall. Amazing.

HeY!
I resemble that remark!

Yep, you lived to tell the tale to your grandchildren and gerbils. I wouldn't want to relive that.

Aaahhh, made the 2nd camp-out with the trusty bus... Van... Thing and I even arrived at a half-way decent time.

I decided to go out as even though the whole family was coming to town to celebrate me finally scoring a job, everyone was arriving sometime late Friday deader than a door nail.
So I quickly grabbed my stuff and went a driving to the famed Hunter's Moon.

It was quite moony!!

The guys enjoying the hot fire with some great talks about, well, everything guys would talk about.

Image

The lanterns were super cool, gave it a real ambiance even though it was very very bright out during the night.

Image

Next morning everyone was moving a hint slowly.

Image

Hal said that we should work on the windows. Well, we did, however not all of them were finished as some of the seals Hal got were crappy. Oh well, it was worth the few bucks.

Image

Enjoying probably the last sunny cruise in Oregon for what I think will be a fairly long time.

Image

And of course, the camp shot. Do note I did have to do some photo chopping, came out... OK at best. :blackeye:
BTW, this picture is a 2000 pixel widescreen shot.

Would've gone on the hike too if my stomach wasn't grumbling again.

To be honest though, I stayed just the right amount to leave a presence yet hang out with the tribe back home. =)
