Or leave it up? I got rid of last year's 2006 Itinerary Forum and had requests for threads that are gone gone gone forever. But. . . . time does that.

Leave it so those who are not yet wise in the ways of the Itinerant Air-Cooled mechanic may learn of his services, and the experiences of his customers.

There's some great advertising in them thar posts!

yea, leave it up for a bit. I still go through and read The Tales of the Wandering Vw Jedi.

lots of details in there. Its too bad these boards couldn't just stay. But then the Internet would get full and it would back up into our computers and then it would spill all over the floor.

The only time you should take something down is if you are hurting for space. I doubt you are.

Oh, old 'for sale' and 'wanted' ads: those should be pruned regularly.

Those bother me too... on boards where they are free roaming in a forum and not in a true classified format.

If your site is not hurting for space I would think the chronicles of how the year's run went might be interesting for some to read/re-read.

It is good to see you here, Keith. Have a look around. We'll keep it up.

Cool,

I was enjoying reading some of the details of the visits.

After bounding around the country with this Squareback, I have a new appreciation for the superior ride sophistication of the later buses. And I did good with noise suppression in my bus too, this thing has a bit gearbox noise that is sort of crude at low speeds.

Phrig. What is it they say about the military? Never volunteer for anything?

Anyway, if it can be done, it should be a very small download. Anyone and everyone can be an archivist. How do you actually do it? RTFM?
