SOLD 1979 Westfalia Automatic

SOLD
1979 Campmobile Westfalia Bus with new engine.
Stock engine and fuel injection, AUTOMATIC transmission. Pertronix ignition, original distributor with point ignition included. Compression tests shows 120, 130, 120 & 140. Wheels are Vanagon sport wheels and the original stock wheels with hubcaps are included. Tires are Michellin LTX light truck tires.
Interior includes childs cot, removable table, working 12v faucet, sink and 7 gallon water tank. I'll throw in the portable Coleman stove which runs on unleaded gas that I used when camping, its like new. Poptop works fine and the fold out bed is in good shape. All original curtains are inside including the windshield cover and rear hatch bug screen. Headbanger cabinet is in good shape and included, pics if needed. Also included is the removable AM/FM Cassette stereo with aux-in jack which I haven't gotten around to installing.
Original seats are included in sale. Installed seats are Vanagon seats with fold-up armrests. Orig door handles included. Removable center console included, its not bolted down and easily removed. Also included is the original stock BA6 Heater, which was replaced by insulated ducting. It works well and was plenty warm enough for Portland weather. The original carpet was removed and replaced with basic gray carpet. Some original carpet including the front & center will be included.
Engine was rebuilt in Feb. 2009 by Trafton's VW Shop in Portland, OR at 52,676 miles; current mileage is 62,266. This bus was serviced by Colin, the Itinerant mechanic in 2009 & 2010. Have all receipts. Includes Bentley service manual and VW for dummies book. Asking $3500 obo. Contact Barry at 503-891-1731.
