Well maybe a different night to suit you and Mr. Wax.

Depends on where you depart from. I think the last time I went that way it was 12 hours from Canada but I think we stopped in Fiji first. Probably at least 20 hours total.

Once it took 36 hours to get to Dublin, Ireland...we were picking up & meeting nine people along the way.

This is what I saw from Neal:
The convergence is at Dunnigan Mountain. BYOB, that's booze and bus. Pirates and Santas Super Heros, all are welcome. Room for all, shake it, bake it, hoop it, loop it. I'll bring up the EV's and some wattage to shake timbers. Come on in out of the cold and shake some bones.

Potluck.

Took me and a friend 12 hrs with a pit stop in Chitown and London, UK. That was ENOUGH plane ride for me. But I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

A few of us flew from PDX to Atlanta then to London where we met 2 more folks at the Van Morrison cassette section (this was 1994) of Virgin Records in Piccadilly Circus. From there we took the train to Holyhead, Wales, caught a ferry to Dublin, found a B&B, dropped off our packs and went dancing at Bono's nightclub. whew!!!! the next day we caught a bus to Spiddal on the west coast where we met the rest of our group. what a trip!

Out of Amboy WA a few miles, Dunnigan Mt overlooks Lake Merwin, the first of three resevoires on the Lewis River, maybe. Cheryle's place.

Always worth a visit.

But what was I thinking, we won't be there. Looks like it's at my place. The EVs and wattage are here anyway. We can still rattle windows, or maybe bring your needle files and file down air-flow obstructions left on cylinder head and cylinder cooling fins. Personally, shakin' all over would be more fun.

Bring your own pirate beer, PBRrrggghhhh.

Bring it on!

Overnighters encouraged.

In Amboy, even indoors, ample, at my place, uhmm, drat, only in the environment of the earth, under the stars, or the clouds, in the rain, and...alright, face it, at the mercy of the elements. Those EVs take up quite a bit of space.

Blue Moons

Post by easterclick » Thu Dec 31, 2009 11:19 am

Blame it on the Moon, changed our minds (ok my mind) We'll be in Amboy, pounding on the drum and howling at the moon.

46808 NE Tie Pond Road Amboy, WA 98601
360.247.6045
(skip the earlier post for the Gertz address)

Or e-mail for directions if your coming up. Room for hoops and to sleep, warm fire and if we're lucky the Moon will show it's Blue face.
