I gotta find out what's left of this. Still have no idea where to go, any ideas? Abandoned since 1980 so I'm not holding up much hope.

"HI, the former Milwaukee shops and yard are now a container shipping area used by the Port of Tacoma. The only thing left standing is the Freighthouse which is now called Freighthouse Square and has shops and fast food restaurants. It also serves as the Tacoma Terminal for the Sounder Commuter train and for the Link streetcar the takes you downtown Tacoma. The Tacoma Eastern RR uses the old Milwaukee track to haul freight to the Beoing plant in Fredrikson. Part of the Milwaukee tracks near Mt Rainier are used by the Mt. Rainier Scenic railroad. The track between Tacoma and Seattle is used by the Union Pacific now, it was shared with by both railroads when the Milwaukee was still operating here.
Please come and visit the Washington State History Museum were our layout is located.
Hope this helps,
