Buses By the Bridge XXI

Post by JLT » Tue Dec 20, 2016 2:36 pm

Hello, all.

This is my yearly announcement that I intend to be at Buses By the Bridge in Lake Havasu City in 2017. Their website has the details:

http://www.busesbythebridge.com/Buses_B ... lcome.html

I expect to be there when the gate opens on Thursday, if the bus cooperates.

Anybody else going?

Can't believe it's been 11 years since I was down there. Some day I'll make it again.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.

You'll be parking in the Parking Lot of Shame, of course, instead of in the show area with all us cool guys. I had to do that the first year I was there, when my bus died and I had to take my Sienna instead.

I made it back OK, no incidents to speak of. I think they had 500 buses again, and maybe broke last years record, but the final count wasn't announced when I left. I sold a few books and had a good time, despite the fact that it was raining (!) and storming (!!) all Saturday. Lake Havasu is supposed to have two inches of rain per year. We got it all on that one day.

Wondering if you saw my former Bus2! Needle in a haystack. I should have asked before you went.

I was there. Had a blast even with the rain. My Bus gave me a few problems but all of them minor. Leaky gear oil stink.
