Who approached him? Was it the poh leeze? Or the Raccoon hit squad? I hear the Raccoons are very interested in Maupin and already have their deposits in.
The best navigators aren't sure where they're going until they get there. And then they're still not sure.

Whoa! Now this changes things. See, always, ALWAYS the RendezVW has occurred on the 17 of June - my wife's birthday. Since it's over on the 16th, it might just be politically possible for me this year.

Are Sprinters still allowed? Even if they have a dent in the passenger side fender? Caused by not-my-fault? :bounce:

YES! We'd love to see you again. You'll have to park your Sprinter in the back, back corner over by Xelmon and whatever he's driving :geek: . I wouldn't recommend tying off or in anyway connecting your vehicle to his ... it's pretty flat in the campground, but you never know :cherry:

Is he, like unstable?

The last visit, I nearly got stuck on wet grass, trying to back uphill outta my spot on the river side. Maybe I should put the Dorper in back, for ballast. :bootyshake:

Glasseye, it's a rolling gag now (no pun intended) from my accident. Supposedly gravel is my enemy, and only the flattest roads are safe for me anymore.

Bump. Registrations are continuing to trickle in ... thanks to those who've sent them! If you're planning to attend, please send me your form soon.

Also, I'm going to try something a bit different this year with the "give-away raffle". Someone suggested this a couple of years ago ... and I think it is a great idea that should be a lot of fun ... and insure that everyone leaves with something!

EVERYONE BRING SOMETHING COOL TO GIVE AWAY! It can be VW related (parts, gizmos, toys, novelties, pictures, etc., etc.), camping related, handmade items, etc. Doesn't have to be new, expensive, etc. ... just something you think someone else would appreciate.

I think this will be a hoot, and add to the fabulous sense of community we already enjoy at the event.

So, start thinking about what you'll bring ... and get creative!

Thanks all! See you in June!

Ok gang! I know it may seem like a long ways in the future for you, but it's the day after tomorrow for me :cherry: . PLEASE SEND IN YOUR REGISTRATIONS if you're planning to attend. I need hardcopies so I can start anticipating final numbers. Remember there is a "will pay cash at the event" option ... so I'm not looking for your fees as much as I'm looking for your forms. SEND THEM YOU SLACKERS! See you in June!
