Replacement for fuel filler hose

Post by BlissfullyCrusin » Tue Sep 25, 2007 8:49 am

So I've been trying to find a decent replacement for the hose that goes from filler tube to the gas tank. Germansupply has been out for quite some time and I don't think they know when it will be back in stock.

I did find this though..do you think it'll work? It's fairly "pretty" but 24" in black is still cheaper then Germansupply. Thoughts?

I followed Ratwell's advice and made my own, has worked well so far.

Yeh, I was aware of that but I have heard many complaints about that "fix".

Do you have FI? Seems like the only people who like this fix have FI. Was something changed between the carb and FI years?

Yes I have FI, not sure why it would make any difference, hopefully someone else will chime in.

Good Luck,

Mike
