Does anyone have a good used German 1600 fuel pump (rebuildable style) lying around? I'm sure not gonna pay $150 to OEVEEDUB for a new one, and the Brazilian pumps suck (instead of pump?)....
Please lemme know.
Hmm the rebuild kit is pretty cheap, will this make an old pump good as new?

Re: Fuel pump WANTED
If it has a nice new neoprene gasket, better than new. Lubricate all pivot surfaces with moly and you could have a nice long life with a rebuild.hambone wrote: Hmm the rebuild kit is pretty cheap, will this make an old pump good as new?

This might seem extreem to you guys but when a garage dude changed out my original fuel pump for a brazzilion one I cried and demanded the old one back (out of the trash) I had rebuilt it with at that time , availabile kits many times. I still have it, in a box somewhere, I showed it to Colin on one of his visits but at the time was not a primary issue. Now that I see WW has rebuild kits available, I will get one and take it with me if there is a failure. I love simplicity and again thanks Bob for the question
