Local Oh really :) is selling fuel injectors made by BWD that would fit in Vanagon for $25 a pop... buy or stay away! I got a new engine and would like to put a fresh set of injectors with it.

Never heard of BWD. Sincerely doubt they'd be up to Bosch standards.
For $20 a pop,
WitchHunter will clean and flowtest your existing injectors. Very fast turn-around. I'm quite happy with the four I had them work on.

Thanks for posting that link SlowLane. I've always sent mine to Rich Jensen at Cruizin Performance in Michigan. I clicked on your post and see that Witchhunter is five miles from my house.
If I'd only known. Well... I do now. Thanks again.

There is a company who cleans them and verifies the flow... but the price on these BaWD injectors is tempting. =)

Do you feel lucky? I got a 30 dollar starter from O'reillys and so far so good.

I have seen and used the BWD brand parts before (granted not on my VW yet). Seems to be a replacement parts supplier although I am pretty sure you get what you pay for. I use autozone starters as well. They are cheap and close by if I need another one (lifetime warranty)
