Not my day today with the bus...
Bought some fancy CIP1 German door seals for the front doors at $60 each. I guess the buses are bigger in Germany or my doors shrunk:
Maybe the other door fits better and they gave me a Vanagon part or something...

CIP1 sucks. I'm not ordering from them any more. Too many shoddy parts. The JC Whitney of the West.

I know. I would have preferred Bus Depot (the JC Whitney of the East?), but try to find bus door seals on their site. It's hilarious. About 20 pages of seals for all kinds of vehicles but nothing that just says "Bus 1968-79."hambone wrote:CIP1 sucks. I'm not ordering from them any more. Too many shoddy parts. The quality of these seals seemed pretty good aside from their being too big, so maybe I'll cut out a few pieces to make them fit.

Too funny. These are Vdubtech's new oversized CIP1 brake lines (from this thread). I think someone over there is using an imperial tape measure or something.
...and my CIP1 door seals (which I did not stretch).
Maybe too many people complained that their parts were too short.
