FUEL INJECTED BUS STARTER SOLENOID

I always wondered why Bosch positioned the small terminals on these solenoids they way they did. Not having any issues with one, just curious if anybody knew about it.

The horizontal spade has traditionally been the "input spade" and the vertical has traditionally been the output spade to the double relay.
