Well that's good news. I think it's worth a shot if I might get another 6-12 months out of it.

I heart my bus again after 2 yrs of relative neglect and it feels good.

I just replaced my DieHard Gold last month in my '76 Bus, It lasted 7 years.
I miss Sears.

Bettery quality seems to have nose-dived ... right alongside their warranties.
My best battery was the BobD Optima red 2004-2017. Now I read reviews full of disappointed buyers,
Colin
BobD - 78 Bus . . . . . . . . .115,063 miles
Chloe - 70 bus . . . . . . . . 219,045 miles
Naranja - 77 Westy . . . . . 185,060 miles
Pluck - 1973 Squareback . . 55,630 miles
Alexus - 91 Lexus LS400 . . 99,705 miles

What did you replace it with?

I've been getting 5-6 years with the ones I've been buying from Firestone.

I was laid up for 6 weeks and unable to start the bus and my Durango, so both batteries died.
The Dodge battery was 2 years old and would not hold a charge, Autozone Duralast.
They replaced it no charge, so I bought a Duralast from them that was the same form factor
as the Diehard. Unable to purchase a AGM battery for either. I understand that the Autozone Duralast
is made by the same factory that make the Diehard for Advaned Auto (which just went bankrupt).
The modern way is less for more $. I am so thankful not to have any of the junk hi tech which are
problems waiting to happen. This new techology inflates the price and is the first thing to become obsolete.
Complexity is the enemy of reliability.
