Putting on CV Joints--right side out? Help! 69 Camp 71 dp

Got through most of the process and want to confirm that I am putting these on correctly.
My understanding is that the face of the joint that faces the flange should be the flatter of the two. That is, the side that faces the driveshaft should have the deeper chamfers on the races. (I think those are the right words).
Here's a few pics. I wiped some grease off to give a better view.
Please let me know if this looks correct to you. My joints are old, and I can't really feel the machined ring/groove that is supposed to indicate the correct side.
