Temp II sensor location

Post by jules » Wed Nov 10, 2010 3:30 pm

Hi,

I have a Type IV engine with a temp II sensor broken off in the head.

Before trying to get it out with a "EZ-out" (not always so easy out) I'm wondering:

1) Isn't there likely a temp II sensor hole on my 1/2 head also?
2) Can I find a way to make it work or am I going to get hung up with the thermostatic flap assembly or something similar?

Thanks

Drill it out and tap.
1/2 head may have a sensor hole, if so, yes, you could use it.
