67,798 miles later, I replaced those points while troubleshooting an unrelated issue. They only required a 200-mile break-in adjustment and grease twice a year. Neither the points gap nor timing changed over the next three years and three laps of the country.Echlin points and condenser from NAPA auto, mine from White Salmon, Washington.
Dwell was set to 41* on July 24th [2016]

In related news, I have e-mails out to a few parts chains looking for 237B tailpipes. If they turn up dry I will consult the muffler shop that just made me a nice 1973 fuel filler pipe out of exhaust components.
