oil breather hose
Does anyone know what size hose I'll need coming off of the oil breather and the nipple off of the fan housing?

12mm cloth braided is correct. You can also use 1/2" heater hose since it's not under any real pressure. I used 1/2" aluminum tubing and 12mm hose as connectors.

Scott, you are correct on the carb engine size. . . I think chitwnvw has a frankensteined breather.germansupplyscott wrote:i could be wrong on the size of the carbed one. i am certain about the 22mm for the injected one.
