Well well well... Just last weekend I had real good intentions of changing the oil again and checking in on the shavings - did not happen. I have not changed the oil since the last time I posted. I am due for an oil change, however. Will keep you posted - I promise.
The engine runs fine though.

This reminds me of when I pulled the strained on my years ago (before current build) and found similar shiny flake/s. Engine was running great and oil pressure was fine. Engine at that time had little over 105K miles on it. Given I had the money & time I went ahead and tore it down.
It turned out to be cam bearing material.
